I recently received this notice from Russ Holden and the good people over at Caddy For A Cure (www.caddyforacure.com) that these two superstars of golf are still available for the upcoming PGA Tour event in Boston.  A great opportunity to get inside the ropes and up close with the best golfers in the World all while supporting a great cause.  Visit www.caddyforacure.com for complete information.

“Imagine having the chance to spend the day with one of the brightest stars on the PGA TOUR, during a PGA TOUR practice round. Inside the Ropes, with ALL the money going to charity. Support The Wounded Warrior Project, the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund, and a host of other charities. Go to www.caddyforacure.com to experience the most unique opportunity in the world of professional sports.”

I just received an email from the Golf Club at Bridgewater announcing some extremely low pricing from now through the weekend (July 15th – July 19th, 2009).

Bridgewater is a “linksy” style course in Lakeland FL. Easy access right off of I-4, pretty much halfway between Tampa and Orlando.

Opened in 2007, Bridgewater is a nice change of pace from what you may consider a “typical Florida course”. If you have been looking for a new course to check out, Bridgewater is well worth the 30 minute drive from Tampa or Orlando. Especially at the prices that they are currently offering.

I took full advantage of being on the grounds of Augusta National for the 2009 Masters Wednesday practice round.  While there isn’t as much golf to watch on Wednesday it provides a great opportunity to take pictures and video of the best golfers in the world on one of  Earth’s great courses.
