A new turf reduction project is underway at Barona Creek Golf Club , a top San Diego public golf course in efforts to lower irrigation and maintenance costs and boost sustainability.

Barona Creek plans to convert between 10 to 12 acres of out-of-play turf into waste areas or more natural landscape.
